Readers that know me outside of the cyber community will know that I’m a beer drinker by trade. I actually had to do research to create a cocktail with my Iowa Shine whiskey. That said, this refreshing margarita will solve all of your problems (and I have a lot of them as there are only four days left of the school year!):

• 3 ounces Iowa Shine 100% corn whiskey
• 2 ounces triple sec
• 2 ounces orange juice
• Shake and serve over ice

Let’s get serious….there are cornflakes in my plastic shaker to serve on top of cheesy potatoes, so I mixed my drink in a glass measuring cup. Regardless, the effect was the same: pure relaxation and happiness.

P.S. I cannot wait for the official Iowa Shine opening! (June 1st?!?!)

P.S.S. This could easily be done with lime juice instead for a different twist.
