My friend Jill makes this really delicious spaghetti bake. She simply boils the noodles and tops them with browned meat, cream soup, tomato soup, and cheese. It’s super easy and super delicious! I have found that I can change this basic recipes in a million ways, so I’m hoping to inspire you to make a version your eaters will love!
Base
- Buttered noodles
- Roasted cabbage
- Zucchini noodles
- Spaghetti squash
- Meat
- Ground turkey/pork/chicken/beef
- Chicken chunks
- Crab/shrimp
- Sauce (combined and warmed on the stovetop)
- One cream soup: shrimp, chicken, mushroom, celery, potato
- One can of tomato soup
- One can of milk
The picture you are looking at is a base of finely shredded cabbage, roasted in the oven at 400* while I made the sauce. The sauce is crab, cream of shrimp soup, tomato soup, one cup of corn, and milk, heated on the stove until bubbly. After pouring the sauce over the cabbage, I sprinkled the casserole with a mixture of cheddar and mozzarella cheeses.
I love this recipe because it can be made with things you probably have on hand. It can be full of vegetables or carb-tastic and cheesy. It has become a go-to recipe on my meal plan!
