This go-to party snack is an remake of a recipe I stole from my friend Jenny G. She brought these to a snack day at school with a Triscuit/pretzel combo, and I knew I had to appropriate the mix for my kitchen.
- 3/4 cup of veggie oil
- 1 t. cayenne pepper
- 1 t. garlic salt
- 1 t. lemon pepper
- Pour over two 9 oz bags of pretzels.*
- Sprinkle with one packet of dry ranch.
- Microwave for three minutes, stirring after each minute.
You will never offer your guests beer without these again!
* Store brand pretzels at my local happen to be 9 ounces a piece, but this amount of oil can spice a larger amount of pretzels. I most prefer a mix of butter braids and mini twists. Waffle pretzels are also good because they hold a lot of spicy goodness in between those little squares.
