Better late than never; I finally got my tree up:

I always decorate the back of the tree for my former neighbor DeeDee. When we were kids, DeeDee would complain if the back of the tree wasn’t as pretty as the rest. She’s not my neighbor anymore, but I think of her every year when I put up the tree.

I have one handmade ornament, from a student during student teaching:

Isn’t it lovely? In fact, it inspired the entire theme of my tree…which is the same every year. 🙂
